All athletes participating in Hobson West Water Polo must get insurance through USA Water Polo. If your child has played water polo in the past for us then you have a login and password established. Here are the steps to renew your membership for insurance:

1. Visit usawaterpolo.org
2. Click on “Join Now” at the top of the page.
3. Click on the purple words that say “Click here to Join US Leagues!”
4. Select 2011Naperville Summer Suburban Water Polo League.
5. Follow the prompts to complete the transaction. Make note of your member ID and password for the future. If the athlete wants to play in the future, you will use the id and password to change leagues and clubs… etc.
6. Choose Hobson West Waves as your club team.
7. Follow the steps to finalize your transaction. You may want to print out your membership info and file it for the future.

2. Click on Member Login in the upper right corner.
3. Click on Renewing Member/Log in
4. Type in the member ID and password. If you don’t remember click on the red words “Forgot your ID or Password?” and follow the prompts.
5. After you log in, scroll down the page to the rectangular box that says “Join US Leagues” and click on it.
6. Click on the select one box and scroll down and select “2011 Naperville Summer Suburban WP League.”
7. Fill out the required information.
8. Select Hobson West Waves as your club team and follow the steps to complete your transaction.

14 and under teams includes players between the ages of 12 and 14 and not currently in high school (players entering high school are allowed.)

11 and under team includes players between the ages of 9 and 11.

14 and Under Coed and Girl Team – Players on this team must be able to consecutively swim 4 lengths of the pool in under 2:30 minutes and tread water (without touching the bottom) for 10 minutes.

11 and Under Coed Team – Players on this team must be able to consecutively swim 4 lengths of the pool in under 3:30 minutes and tread water (without touching the bottom) for 5 minutes.

All players will be tested on the first day of practice and any player unable to meet these requirements will be refunded their money.
