Every swim team family is required to bring a concessions item to a home swim meet. It will usually be a case of something to drink or another needed concession item. In addition to the concession item, everyone is required to contribute a monetary donation as well, which is between $20 and $35 depending on the drink/food item you were assigned. This amount is determined by the swim team Board of Directors, and charged with your registration fee at the time of registration. Your contributions to concessions are extremely important!!! We collect a significant amount of our income for swim team from concession sales at meets, and when you fail to bring your concession contributions on your designated date, that is a loss of income for our kids. To make it easier for you to remember your contributions, sign-up for your items will be for one meet only. Make a note on your calendar for the date you have signed up for. You will also be given a reminder sheet at the time of registration, and you will get a reminder phone call from a concessions committee member. Please remember to check in your contributions with a concessions worker when you drop your items off.
Please bring your donations 45 minutes prior to the start of the meet.
REMEMBER.. . forgotten items are lost revenue for the swim team!!!
If one of your assigned jobs is to work at concessions, concession workers work the entire meet. You sign up to work either starting at 4:00 p.m. (7:00 a.m. on Saturday meets) which includes set-up and work until the end of the meet, or starting at 5:00 p.m. (8:00 a.m. on Saturday meets) which includes working the meet and clean-up after the meet.
