When: Saturday, April 12 , 2008 8am - 10am

Where: St. John's Episcopal Church - At the corner of West and Aurora

• Returning and new resident swimmers, returning non-resident swimmers register beginning at 8AM.

• New non-resident swimmers will register, space permitting, from 9:30am - 10:00am.
New non-resident swimmers will be issued a reservation number.

To register:
Download all necessary documents. Copies of registration materials will be in limited supply at sign-ups for $1.00 each document.

What to bring:

	Bring TWO (2) copies of the Hobson West Swim Team Registration form correctly filled out to registration. (TWO for each FAMILY).
	Bring TWO (2) copies of the Park District Waiver form for EACH SWIMMER. (TWO for each SWIMMER).

Bring several checks (swim team fees, spirit wear, etc.)

IMPORTANT
NEW NON-RESIDENT SWIMMERS must show an original birth certificate or certified copy of original birth certificate at registration. Photo copies will not be accepted.

SWIM TEAM FEES and OBLIGATIONS

Mandatory swim team fees include the per swimmer fee and the family concession fee and donation. A $25 late fee is applied to any resident swimmer registering after April 12. The late fee is a per swimmer fee. The fee is waived for any swimmer whose family moved to Hobson West after February 1, 2008.

For non-residents, mandatory swim team fees include the per swimmer fee, the pool membership fee and the concession fee and donation. A $25 late fee is applied for any non-resident swimmer registering after April 12 unless the swimmer’s name was on the wait list prior to April 12. This is a per swimmer fee.

Potential mandatory fee is a $100 fine for missing/late to a work assignment at a meet.
Potential cost at registration: copies of registration materials will be in limited supply and available for $1 per item (park district release form $1, HWST registration form $1, etc).

To equitably share in the work and food preparation required to make the Hobson West Swim Team social events a success, families are assigned a type of dish to contribute to a pasta party, dessert social fund raiser and year ending party.

RESIDENT SWIM TEAM FEES: $110 PER SWIMMER, CAPS AT $330 PER RESIDENT FAMILY
After April 12: $135 per swimmer, caps at $405 per family.

NON-RESIDENT SWIM TEAM FEES: $135 PER SWIMMER PLUS COST OF HOBSON WEST POOL MEMBERSHIP
After April 12: $160 per swimmer (see above for exception)

NON-RESIDENT MEMBERSHIP CLASSIFICATIONS:
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIPS FOR SWIMMERS 9 & OLDER: $117 EACH
FAMILY MEMBERSHIPS: $585

NON-RESIDENTS: PLEASE REFER TO THE DOCUMENT 2008 NON-RESIDENT POOL MEMBERSHIP POLICY.

CONCESSION FEE: AT SWIM TEAM SIGN-UPS THE CONCESSIONS TEAM WILL HAVE A SIGN-UP BOARD. AS PART OF THE SWIM TEAM FEES, EACH FAMILY PAYS A CONCESSION FEE AND SIGNS UP TO BRING A COOLER WITH ICE AND AN ASSIGNED BEVERAGE (POP, WATER, OR GATORADE/POWERADE). THE FEE RANGES FROM $25-30 DEPENDING ON THE BEVERAGE YOU SIGN UP TO BRING.
