The folks on your email list may be interested in a meeting coming up. It's a community forum this Thursday at 7:30 at the Naperville Municipal Center. Carl Schultz from the forest preserve district will be speaking about the upcoming referendum. The November referendum question will help preserve open space in DuPage County. The press release follows. You can forward it to the people concerned about the Hobson West Ponds if you think it's appropriate.

On Thursday, September 28, at 7:30 pm, DuPage County Forest Preserve District Commissioner Carl Schultz will address a Community Forum, sponsored by the Naperville Township Democratic Organization. Commissioner Schultz will discuss the role of the Forest Preserve District in acquiring and preserving open space, as well as the non-partisan fall referendum which - if enacted - will allow the District to continue and expand these efforts. Community Forums are held at 7:30 pm, the last Thursday of each month at the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle Street.
